Chicago Tech Academy High School (ChiTech) is a non-profit, four-year contract school founded in 2009 to inspire, educate, and connect a diverse new generation of technology leaders -- specifically at-risk and minority youth.

We have separated ourselves from other schools in Chicagoland by incorporating not only a strong focus on STEM-related programs (science, technology, engineering, and math), but also by breaking down barriers for at-risk and low-income youth to advance toward higher education. ChiTech is committed to closing the opportunity gap and striving for equality in the technology industry by cultivating an environment where students are prepared for higher education and/or a career with a technology focus.

Whether students choose to go on to a four-year college or a trade school, ChiTech programs are designed to help develop skills for meaningful employment in the 21st-century workforce.

With 400 students enrolled for this upcoming school year and 200 juniors and seniors on track for graduation, ChiTech has created an abundance of new certifiable programs, which include internships, industry mentors, Photoshop courses, HTML5, CSS3, Ruby, JavaScript, networking systems, video editing, music production and digital recording.

Students that begin and end their high school years at ChiTech have a current graduation rate of 94%. Please, help guide our future tech leaders to greater success!
